Peter's Date and Time (formerly Peter's Date Package) provides your users with the best date and time entry fields on the web, according to customer testimonials and two aspnetPRO magazine Reader's Choice awards. These controls are exceptionally flexible so that they fit into your current web site’s user interface. They have been designed to be very usable by your site visitors, giving them a client-side (browser driven) interface that often matches date entry fields found in Windows applications. The suite of 18 controls includes:
- DateTextBox - A TextBox with a client-side popup calendar that does not require a separate window or post backs. It filters keystrokes, follows international formatting, and accepts partial dates. Its extensive features include a context menu to show and run available commands; help button; range support when two are connected; minimum, maximum dates, and MUCH more.
- Calendar - A replacement to Microsoft's Calendar web control that does not require post backs to respond to the user's clicks. It has over 200 properties to customize it and is style sheet driven. It can display multiple months and has powerful formatters for the contents of date cells. Also includes a multiple selection calendar control.
- TimeOfDayTextBox and DurationTextBox - These two time oriented textboxes filter keystrokes, handle various time formats, include a popup TimePicker, and offer spinners to adjust the time.
- MonthYearTextBox - Enter a month and year such as for credit card expiration dates. Includes a popup MonthYearPicker control
- AnniversaryTextBox - Enter a month and day for dates the recur annually. Includes a popup calendar.
- QuickDateMenu - This is a special popup menu with a list of dates the user is likely to enter so the user can avoid typing. Upon selection, it fills in one or a pair of DateTextBoxes.
