This tutorial was created with and aimed toward users of Visual Studio.NET 2008. However, 2005 can be used if Microsoft's ASP.NET AJAX Extensions, which can be downloaded here, is installed. In this example, we will be looking briefly at the Life Cycle of an ASPX page, and how an Asynchronous PostBack still follows the same events as a normal PostBack.
